Wegovy 1.7mg Flextouch Pre Filled Pen

Your Advantages

Brand novo-nordisk

Wegovy 1.7mg Flextouch Pre Filled Pen contains Semaglutide, a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist used for chronic weight management and to reduce the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events.

Benefits

This medication works by mimicking a natural hormone to reduce appetite and slow gastric emptying, which helps in achieving significant weight loss. It can also lead to improvements in cardiovascular risk factors such as blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Additionally, it is indicated for managing metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH).

Uses and Indications

  • Weight management, including weight loss and maintenance, in adults with obesity (BMI ≥30 kg/m²) or overweight (BMI ≥27 kg/m²) with at least one weight-related comorbidity (e.g., hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, obstructive sleep apnea, or cardiovascular disease).
  • Reduction of the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (cardiovascular death, non-fatal myocardial infarction, or non-fatal stroke) in adults with established cardiovascular disease and either obesity or overweight.
  • Treatment of noncirrhotic metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) in adults.
  • Weight management in adolescents aged 12 years and above with obesity.
