Dosage and Administration

  1. Take one Rybelsus 7mg Tablet once daily.
  2. Swallow the tablet whole with no more than 4 ounces (120 mL) of plain water. Do not cut, crush, or chew the tablet.
  3. Take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before the first food, beverage, or any other oral medications of the day.
  4. If a dose is missed, skip the missed dose and take the next dose the following day. Do not take two doses to make up for a missed dose.

 

Storage and Disposal

  • Store at room temperature, between 68°F–77°F (20°C–25°C).
  • Keep the tablets in their original child-resistant bottle or blister packaging to protect them from moisture and light.
  • Do not transfer tablets to a pill organizer or other containers.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Precautions and Safety

  • Rybelsus is not for use in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus or diabetic ketoacidosis.
  • Do not use if you or your family has a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2).
