Ryzodeg Penfill 100IU 3ml Injection contains Insulin Degludec and Insulin Aspart, a combination of long-acting and rapid-acting insulins, used to manage type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults and children.

Uses and Indications

The Ryzodeg Penfill 100IU 3ml Injection contains:

• Insulin Degludec (2.56mg/1ml) and Insulin Aspart (1.05mg/1ml).
• Each mL of solution contains 100 units of insulin degludec/insulin aspart in a 70/30 ratio.
• One 3ml cartridge contains 300 units of insulin degludec/insulin aspart.

Dosage and Administration

1. Use Ryzodeg Penfill 100IU 3ml Injection strictly as directed by your doctor or nurse.
2. It is usually taken once daily with a main meal, preferably at the same time each day.
3. If administration at the same time is not possible, it may be taken at a different time, ensuring a minimum gap of 8 hours between doses.
4. Administer the injection subcutaneously (under the skin) into the thigh, upper arm, or abdomen.
5. Rotate the injection site within the same region to reduce the risk of lipodystrophy.
6. Do not inject into a vein or muscle.

Storage and Disposal

• Before first use, store Ryzodeg Penfill in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C.
• Do not freeze the medicine.
• After first opening, the pen can be stored at room temperature (below 30°C) or in a refrigerator (2°C – 8°C) for up to 4 weeks (28 days).
• Keep the cap on the pen to protect it from light.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use Ryzodeg if you are allergic to insulin degludec, insulin aspart, or any other ingredients.

• Seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe allergic reactions such as rash, hives, wheezing, trouble breathing, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.
