It's flavour profile reduces the gag reflex thereby helping allieviate patient anxiety, and significantly improve overall comfort.

Its colour-changing technology provides a visual guide which indicates the mixing, working, and oral positioning phases, helping dental professionals identify processing stages with great convenience.

Composed primarily of potassium alginate, calcium sulfate, and brown algae derivatives, along with pH-sensitive color-changing indicators and a mango flavoring agent.

• Potassium alginate: Water-soluble salt that reacts to form the gel matrix.
• Calcium sulfate: Reacts with the alginate as a cross-linking agent to cause the material to set
• Brown algae derivatives: Natural marine polysaccharides that give the material its hydrocolloid properties
• pH-sensitive dye: Dyes that shift color through three distinct phases (Red -> Light Orange -> Yellow) to show mixing, working, and setting stages

1. Prepare the Powder: Shake the container gently to loosen the powder. Fill the scoop without compressing it and remove excess powder using a dry spatula.
2. Measure Water: Accurately measure the required amount of water. Warm water accelerates setting, while cold water retards setting.
3. Mix: Add water to the powder and mix thoroughly until a smooth, uniform consistency is achieved.
4. Check for colour changes: Red (Mixing) > Salmon (Working) > Yellow (Mouth Positioning).
   
5. Load the Tray: Transfer the mixed alginate onto the selected impression tray.
6. Take the Impression: Ask the patient to rinse with water. Position the tray correctly, press gently, and hold it in place until the material sets.
7. Clean: Once set, carefully remove the impression and rinse it under running water.
8. Cast Promptly: Pour the cast immediately after taking the impression for best results.

Storage

• Store the Tropicalgin alginate powder in airtight container at a temperature of 5-27 °C
• Store away from strong acids, oxidizers, or airborne calcium dust to avoid clumping inside the container
• Do not leave the lid off or unsealed after dispensing
• Do not use past the expiration date

• Handling: Follow the recommended powder-to-water ratio and mixing procedure to support consistent material performance.

• Infection Control: Rinse and disinfect impressions using a compatible product and the recommended procedure. Improper disinfection may affect surface detail and dimensional accuracy.

• Dimensional Stability: Pour impressions as soon as possible, preferably immediately. Avoid storage beyond 24 hours because moisture loss or absorption can affect accuracy.

• Storage: Follow the storage conditions and expiry date stated on the original packaging.
