Eltroxin 100mcg Tablet contains Levothyroxine Sodium, a synthetic thyroid hormone used to treat an underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism) and related conditions.

Uses and Indications

• Active Ingredient: Thyroxine Sodium (as anhydrous) I.P. 100 mcg.
• Excipients: Lactose, Sodium Citrate, Methyl Hydroxybenzoate, Propyl Hydroxybenzoate, Starch Maize, Magnesium Stearate, Gelatin, Acacia Powder.

Dosage and Administration

1. Take Eltroxin 100mcg Tablet orally once daily on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning 30-60 minutes before breakfast, with water.
2. Take it at approximately the same time each day for consistent hormone levels.
3. Dosage is individualized by a doctor based on blood test results (TSH, T3, T4) and clinical assessment.
4. Avoid taking with milk, dairy products, antacids, or mineral supplements (calcium, iron, magnesium, or zinc) for at least 4 hours before and after taking this medication, as they can interfere with absorption.
5. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered, unless it is nearly time for the next dose. Do not take a double dose.

Side Effects and Risks
