  • Sacubitril 97mg (active ingredient).
  • Valsartan 103mg (active ingredient).
  • Excipients: crospovidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, low-substituted hydroxypropylcellulose, magnesium stearate (vegetable origin), microcrystalline cellulose, and talc.
  • Film-coating excipients: Macrogol 4000, iron oxide red (E 172), hypromellose, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), and iron oxide black (E 172).

Dosage and Administration

  1. Take Vymada 200mg Tablet exactly as advised by your doctor.
  2. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not chew, crush, or break it.
  3. It can be taken with or without food, but it is best taken at the same time each day to maintain consistent levels in your body.
  4. Your doctor will determine the dose and frequency, which may be adjusted based on your response to the medicine.
  5. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, even if you feel well, as it prevents future complications.

Precautions and Safety

  • Do not take Vymada 200mg Tablet if you are allergic to sacubitril, valsartan, or any other ingredients.
  • Avoid use if you have severe liver disease.
  • This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Women who could become pregnant should use highly effective contraception during treatment.
  • Do not take Vymada 200mg Tablet with ACE inhibitors; a washout period of at least 36 hours is required between discontinuing an ACE inhibitor and starting Vymada, or vice versa.
  • Avoid concomitant use with other angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) or aliskiren, especially in patients with diabetes or kidney impairment.
  • Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver problems; your doctor may adjust the dose based on your condition.
  • Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and blood potassium levels is recommended during treatment.
  • This medicine may cause dizziness; avoid driving or operating machinery if you experience these symptoms.
  • Avoid potassium-containing foods or potassium supplements, as this medicine may increase blood potassium levels.

 

Side Effects and Risks

  • Common side effects include low blood pressure (hypotension), dizziness, cough, impaired renal function, and high potassium levels in the blood (hyperkalemia).
  • Other possible side effects are nausea, stomach discomfort, tiredness, diarrhoea, headache, fatigue, weakness, fainting, lightheadedness, anemia, vertigo, muscle weakness, painful urination, slow heart rate, and weak pulse.
  • To reduce the risk of dizziness, try getting up slowly from a sitting or lying position.
  • Consult your doctor if these or any other side effects are severe or do not go away.
