Designed to sterilize any autoclavable material, including solid, field, rubber, articulated, porous, cotton, and fabric items, the Woson Tanda B Class Autoclave ensures steam penetration even into complex instruments like hollow-body items and wrapped packs. The chamber is constructed from 304 AISI stainless steel, facilitating internal cleaning and maintenance.

Placement & Setup

• Place the autoclave on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface with adequate ventilation.
• Ensure power supply is appropriate (e.g., 220 V ±10%, 50/60 Hz) and the unit is properly grounded.
• Fill the clean water tank using distilled water only, to avoid scaling and damage.
• Check that all external connections (power, drainage, water fill) are secure.
• Preparing Instruments
• Clean and rinse instruments thoroughly; dry them before placing in the autoclave.
• Arrange items evenly in the chamber trays or cassettes; do not overload—leave space for steam circulation.
• For hollow instruments, ensure proper configuration so steam can penetrate.
• Loading the Chamber
• Open the door and insert the tray(s) into the chamber.
• Check the door gasket is clean, intact and properly seated.
• Close the door securely until locked or latched and ready for operation.
• Selecting the Sterilization Cycle
• Power on the unit via the control panel.
• Select the appropriate B-Class sterilization cycle (e.g., for wrapped/unwrapped, porous/hollow loads) as per load type.
• Typical temperatures: 121 °C or 134 °C (depending on program).
• Vacuum phases (pre-vacuum and/or post-vacuum) and drying phases may be part of the cycle (based on model’s B-Class specification).
• Running the Cycle
• Press Start to begin the cycle.
• The unit will automatically go through phases: vacuum, sterilization, exhausting, drying (if applicable).
• Monitor status via display panel; if error codes appear, refer to troubleshooting section in the manual.
• Completion & Unloading
• Wait until the cycle ends, pressure returns to atmospheric, and display indicates safe to open.
• Carefully open the door slightly to allow steam to escape slowly, then fully open.
• Using sterilization gloves or tongs, remove load and place on a clean, dry surface. Allow instruments to cool before handling or storing.
• Post-Use Maintenance
• Drain any residual water from the chamber and associated tanks.
• Wipe the chamber interior and trays with a clean, lint-free cloth.
• Inspect and clean door gasket, filter screens, and drainage ports.
• Refill the clean water reservoir with fresh distilled water for next use.
• Periodically run any recommended cleaning or maintenance cycles (e.g., generator cleaning if the model includes one).

Safety Precautions

Do not open the door while pressure remains above ambient; risk of steam burns.

Only use distilled water — avoiding tap or hard water to prevent scaling and damage.

Ensure the unit is connected to a properly grounded power outlet and meets specification.

Do not overload the chamber or block steam circulation; proper air removal is critical in B-Class sterilization.

Follow any device-specific alarm/error codes to ensure safe and correct operation.
