The Medtech Medclave Class B Autoclave is an essential sterilizer for modern dental practices, providing safe, effective, and fully compliant sterilization in accordance with EN13060 standards. This compact desktop model, with its 23-liter chamber, is designed for seamless integration into clinical environments, allowing for in-room operation.

The Medclave Class B ensures comprehensive sterilization for solid, hollow, porous, and Type A instruments, whether packaged or unpackaged. It features a high-illumination LED interactive display that digitally guides users through sterilization programs and testing sequences.

The sterilization chamber is constructed from Stainless Steel 304, facilitating internal cleaning and maintenance. The unit includes an integrated thermal paper printer for real-time data recording, including aborted cycles, ensuring traceability and audit readiness.

Placement and Setup:

Place the autoclave on a flat, stable, and well-ventilated surface.
Connect the power cord to a 220V ±10%, 50/60 Hz power supply.
Ensure both the clean water tank and wastewater tank are properly connected.
Fill the clean water tank with distilled water only. Using tap water may cause scaling or damage to the system.

Preparing the Instruments:

Clean and dry all instruments thoroughly before loading.
Place instruments inside sterilization pouches or on the provided trays.
Arrange instruments evenly, avoiding overcrowding to ensure proper steam penetration.

Loading the Chamber:

Open the door and insert the trays or cassettes into the chamber.
Check that the door gasket is clean and intact before closing.
Close the door firmly until it locks securely.

Selecting the Cycle:

Power on the unit using the touch screen control panel.
Select the desired sterilization program based on the load type (e.g., wrapped, unwrapped, hollow instruments).
The autoclave operates at either 121°C or 134°C, depending on the selected program.

Running the Cycle:

Press Start to begin the process.
The autoclave will automatically carry out pre-vacuum, sterilization, and drying phases.
Monitor progress and status through the display screen.

After the Cycle:

Wait until the pressure drops to zero and the display indicates the cycle has completed.
The door will unlock automatically when it is safe to open.
Open the door slightly to allow steam to escape before unloading.

Unloading:

Use sterilization gloves to remove trays carefully.
Allow instruments to cool completely before handling or storing.

Post-Use Care and Maintenance:

Drain the wastewater tank after each use.
Refill the clean water tank with fresh distilled water for the next cycle.
Wipe the chamber and trays dry after every operation.
Check the door gasket, filters, and valves regularly for cleanliness and wear.
Perform routine maintenance as per manufacturer recommendations to ensure long-term performance.

Safety Precautions:

Never open the door while the autoclave is pressurized.
Always use distilled water to avoid scale buildup.
Ensure the unit is connected to a grounded power outlet.
Do not overload or block the steam circulation path.
