Setup:

  • Place the autoclave on a flat, stable surface using the provided sturdy stand. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

 Water Filling:

  • Fill the chamber with the recommended amount of distilled water. Avoid using tap water, as it may cause scaling or damage to the unit.

 Loading Instruments:

  • Clean and dry all instruments before sterilization.
  • Arrange them evenly inside the steel drums.
  • Ensure instruments are not overloaded to allow free steam circulation.
  • Securely close the autoclave lid.

Operation:

  • Set the temperature to 121°C.
  • Adjust the pressure and time according to the type of instruments being sterilized (typically 15–30 minutes).
  • Once the desired pressure and temperature are reached, sterilization will begin automatically.

Completion:

  • After the cycle ends, allow the pressure to drop naturally to zero.
  • Do not open the lid while the pressure is high.
  • Carefully open the lid once it’s safe, allowing steam to escape slowly.

Unloading:

  • Use sterilization gloves or tongs to remove the drums.
  • Place the sterilized instruments on a clean, dry surface to cool before use or storage.

Maintenance:

  • Empty the chamber and wipe it dry after each use.
  • Regularly check the gasket and safety valve for proper functioning.
  • Use only distilled water to ensure long-term performance.
