Healthium Trulon Suture 6-0 - SN3331 Pack of 12

Healthium Trulon 6-0 is manufactured from polyamide (nylon) as a monofilament suture. It exhibits low tissue reactivity with minimal initial inflammatory response, followed by gradual encapsulation in fibrous connective tissue, making it suitable for procedures requiring long-term wound support without permanent tensile strength retention.

This is a non-absorbable suture. While the suture itself is not absorbed by the body, progressive hydrolysis may result in gradual loss of tensile strength over time, making it appropriate for skin closure and soft tissue approximation where extended support during the critical wound healing period is needed.

The suture features excellent elasticity, a smooth texture that minimizes tissue trauma, and smooth knot tie-down with excellent knot security. These properties combine to provide superior handling and predictable performance during surgical procedures.

This suture is supplied with a 3/8 circle cutting needle measuring 26mm in length, with a total suture length of 70cm, providing standard dimensions for general surgical and dermatological closure applications.

The suture is sterilized by ethylene oxide and maintains a shelf life of 5 years from manufacture, ensuring reliable sterility and performance when stored according to manufacturer guidelines.

This suture is indicated for skin closure and surgical procedures requiring soft tissue approximation and/or ligation where a non-absorbable suture with long-term wound support is needed, excluding applications requiring permanent retention of tensile strength.
