Healthium Trulon Suture is manufactured from polyamide (nylon) as a monofilament suture. It elicits minimal initial inflammatory reaction in tissue, followed by gradual encapsulation by fibrous connective tissue, making it suitable for procedures requiring long-term wound support without permanent tensile strength retention.

This is a non-absorbable suture. While the suture itself is not absorbed, progressive hydrolysis may result in gradual loss of tensile strength over time in vivo, providing predictable support during the critical wound healing period.

This suture is indicated for skin closure and soft tissue approximation and/or ligation in surgical procedures where a combination of non-absorbable suture and long-term wound support is required. Its smooth texture minimizes tissue trauma during placement and knot tie-down.

Healthium Trulon Suture is sterilized by ethylene oxide and maintains sterility with a shelf life of 5 years from manufacture, ensuring reliable single-use readiness for surgical procedures.

This suture is supplied with a 3/8 circle cutting needle measuring 16mm in length, designed to facilitate smooth passage through tissue and support secure knot formation during closure.
