GC Gold Label Hybrid integrates advanced Glass Hybrid technology by combining two types of Fluoro-Alumino-Silicate (FAS) glass with two types of polyacrylic acid. This formulation results in a material that offers superior mechanical strength, thanks to an optimized particle size distribution. The finer FAS glass particles enhance translucency by reducing light reflection, allowing more light to pass through the restorative material, resulting in a more natural appearance. Additionally, Gold Label Hybrid’s glass reacts with polyacrylic acid to release a high level of fluoride, promoting tooth remineralization and decay prevention. The inclusion of acid-resistant FAS glass and a high molecular weight polyacrylic acid further strengthens the material’s restorative matrix, improving its resistance to acid and enhancing its durability over time.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  1. Powder and Liquid Dispensing

Recommended ratio: 3.0 g powder to 1.0 g liquid (1 level scoop of powder to 1 drop of liquid).

Dispensing powder: Lightly tap the bottle against your hand for accurate dispensing. Do not shake or invert the bottle.

Dispensing liquid: Hold the liquid bottle vertically and squeeze gently.

After dispensing: Immediately close the bottles tightly to prevent contamination or evaporation.

  1. Cavity Preparation

Tooth preparation: Prepare the tooth using standard clinical techniques. Extensive mechanical retention is not required. For pulp capping, use calcium hydroxide.

Conditioning (optional): Apply cavity conditioner or dentin conditioner to the bonding surfaces if indicated.

Rinse and moisture control: Thoroughly rinse with water. Remove excess moisture with a cotton pellet or gentle air stream. Do not desiccate the tooth. The prepared surface should appear moist and glistening.

  1. Mixing Procedure

Dispense the required powder and liquid onto a mixing pad.

Using a plastic spatula, divide the powder into two equal portions.

Mix the first portion of powder with all the liquid for 10 seconds.

Add the remaining powder portion and mix thoroughly for an additional 15 to 20 seconds until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.

  1. Restorative Technique

Working time is approximately 1 minute 45 seconds from the start of mixing at 23°C (73°F). Higher temperatures will shorten the working time.

Transfer the cement into the prepared cavity using a suitable instrument, avoiding air bubbles.

Establish preliminary contour and place a matrix if required.

Once set, immediately apply GC Fuji Varnish (air dry) or G-Coat PLUS (light cure).

  1. Finishing Procedure

Begin final finishing under water spray approximately 6 minutes after the start of mixing.

Apply a final coat of GC Fuji Varnish or G-Coat PLUS.

Advise the patient not to apply pressure to the restoration for 1 hour.
