  • Common side effects may include swelling in the face, body, legs, feet, ankles, or hands; low blood pressure (especially during dialysis); abdominal pain; shortness of breath; cough; headache; and pain or redness at the injection site.
  • Seek immediate medical attention if you experience signs of an allergic reaction (hives, wheezing, swelling of the face or throat), severe skin reactions (blistering, peeling skin, fever), chest pain, heart attack symptoms, stroke symptoms (sudden numbness or weakness, confusion, severe headache, slurred speech, problems with vision or balance), seizures, or signs of a blood clot (pain, swelling, warmth, cold feeling, or pale appearance of an arm or leg).
