The 3M™ Tegaderm™ Film Dressing - With Border, sized 6cm x 7cm, is a sterile, transparent film dressing designed for comprehensive wound care and protection. This dressing is primarily indicated for covering and protecting catheter sites, including peripheral intravenous (IV) sites, and for securing various medical devices to the skin.

Composed of a thin, transparent polyurethane film, this dressing features a hypoallergenic and latex-free adhesive that is gentle on the skin. 1. Preparation: Clean and dry the skin surrounding the site to be dressed.
2. Placement: Using the picture-frame delivery method, remove the liner and place the dressing over the desired area, ensuring the catheter is centered.
3. Adhesion: Gently press down around the edges to secure the dressing to the skin, ensuring no bubbles or creases.
4. Monitoring: The transparent film allows for visual inspection of the I.V. site without removal.
