SDI Super Etchant - 12gm

SDI Super Etchant is a dental etching gel formulated with 37% phosphoric acid, designed for optimal enamel and dentin conditioning in preparation for adhesive bonding. This etchant creates micropores in the enamel surface and removes the smear layer to unblock dentinal tubules, promoting adhesive resin penetration and resin tag formation, which is vital for the mechanical retention of restorations.

The thixotropic phosphoric acid gel formulation ensures reliable and thorough conditioning of tooth surfaces, creating an ideal substrate for strong and durable adhesive bonds. Its high viscosity and non-slump properties allow for precise and controlled application, even in challenging areas, minimizing the risk of unintentional runoff. SDI Super Etchant is suitable for etching enamel for at least 30 seconds and dentin for 20 seconds, followed by thorough rinsing for 5-10 seconds. The blue tint gel provides high visibility for precise selective placement during procedures.
