Meta Biomed Etchant is a 37% phosphoric acid etching gel, formulated with a unique polymer thickener, designed for optimal enamel and dentin conditioning in restorative dentistry. This etchant prepares tooth surfaces to enhance micromechanical retention and bond strength for various adhesive procedures.

The gel consistency and syringe dispensing system facilitate precise and controlled application, preventing dripping and ensuring accurate placement on both enamel and dentin surfaces. It is engineered to rinse completely without leaving residue, contributing to clean bonding surfaces.

Meta Biomed Etchant is indicated for surface preparation prior to composite restorations, inlays, onlays, and the bonding of orthodontic attachments. For dentin pretreatment, the recommended application time is 15 seconds, while effective enamel etching can be achieved within 15 to 60 seconds. This product conforms to the essential requirements of the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC and is FDA 510(k) cleared.
