Placement and Setup:

  • Place the autoclave on a flat, stable surface with sufficient ventilation space around it.
  • Ensure that both the water tank and wastewater tank are properly connected.
  • Fill the clean water tank with distilled water (recommended for optimal performance).
  • Plug the unit into a compatible 220V, 50/60Hz power source.

 Preparation of Instruments:

  • Clean and dry all instruments thoroughly before sterilization.
  • Arrange instruments evenly on the trays or inside sterilization pouches.
  • Do not overload the chamber—ensure steam can circulate freely.

 Loading the Chamber:

  • Open the autoclave door and place the trays or cassettes inside.
  • Check that the door gasket is clean and properly seated.
  • Close the door securely until it locks.

 Selecting the Sterilization Cycle:

  • Power on the unit using the touch screen control panel.
  • Choose the appropriate Class B sterilization cycle based on the instrument type and packaging (e.g., wrapped, unwrapped, hollow).
  • The default operating temperature is 121°C or 134°C, depending on the selected cycle.

Operation:

  • Once the program is selected, press Start to begin the cycle.
  • The system will automatically perform vacuum, sterilization, and drying phases.
  • Monitor the progress on the display panel.

Cycle Completion:

  • Wait for the pressure to return to zero and for the display to indicate that the cycle is complete.
  • The door will unlock automatically once it is safe to open.
  • Open the door slightly to allow steam to dissipate before removing items.

Unloading:

  • Use sterilization gloves to remove trays carefully.
  • Allow instruments to cool before handling or storing.

Post-Use Maintenance:

  • Empty the wastewater tank after each cycle.
  • Refill the clean water tank as needed using distilled water.
  • Wipe the chamber dry and ensure the gasket is clean.
  • Run a cleaning cycle weekly using the built-in water distiller to maintain water quality and system efficiency.

Safety Tips:

  • Never open the door during the sterilization cycle.
  • Avoid using tap water or chemical solutions inside the tank.
  • Regularly check filters, gaskets, and valves for proper functioning.
