The Levram Malaria Pf/Pan Antigen Rapid Card is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay designed for the qualitative detection and differentiation of Plasmodium falciparum (Pf) and pan-malarial (Pan) antigens in human whole blood. This rapid card serves as an in vitro diagnostic aid for identifying infections with P. falciparum and other Plasmodium species, including P. vivax, P. malariae, and P. ovale.
The test device utilizes anti-HRP-II antibodies specific to Plasmodium falciparum and anti-Pan-LDH antibodies, both conjugated with gold and coated on a membrane, to detect circulating antigens in the blood sample. This product is provided in a "Pack of 50 Tests".
