Dosage and Administration

  1. Use Glynium 25mcg Respules in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
  2. This medicine is for inhalation only, using a nebulizer. Do not swallow or inject the solution.
  3. Twist off the top of the respule and squeeze the entire liquid into the nebulizer. Use it immediately after opening.
  4. Administer at the same time each day for best results.
  5. It is not intended for immediate relief of sudden breathing problems; a rescue inhaler should be used for acute exacerbations.

 

Storage and Disposal

  • Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Store the respules in the foil pouch and remove immediately before use.
  • Discard any unused or opened units as advised by your pharmacist.

Precautions and Safety

  • Take the first dose under medical supervision as it may cause wheezing or tightening of the airways (bronchospasm) immediately after use.
  • Use caution while driving or operating machinery as Glynium Respules may cause dizziness and blurred vision.
  • Inform your doctor about any pre-existing medical conditions such as glaucoma, prostate or bladder issues, kidney or liver problems, or heart problems.
  • Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medicine.
  • Do not use this medicine if you have a known history of allergic reactions to glycopyrronium or any other ingredients.
  • Glynium Respules should not be used in children.

 

Side Effects and Risks

  • Common side effects include upper respiratory tract infection, inflammation of the throat and nasal passage (nasopharyngitis), breathlessness, urinary tract infection, sore throat, dry mouth, gastroenteritis, insomnia, fatigue, wheezing, nausea, headache, rash, agitation, dry skin, flushing, and sinus infection.
  • If any of these symptoms persist or worsen, talk to your doctor.
  • Serious side effects can include blurred vision, eye pain, discomfort, seeing halos or bright colors around lights, red eyes, or difficulty passing urine. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of these.
