Montecip Lc Tablet 10's contains Levocetirizine (5mg) and Montelukast (10mg), a combination medicine used to relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, asthma, and chronic hives.

Uses and Indications

• Relief from allergic rhinitis, including seasonal and perennial allergies, characterised by sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and itchy, watery eyes.
• Management of allergy symptoms associated with asthma, such as coughing, wheezing, and difficulty breathing.
• Reduction of skin itching, swelling, and redness in chronic urticaria (hives).

The Montecip Lc Tablet 10's contains:

• Levocetirizine 5mg (active ingredient)
• Montelukast 10mg (active ingredient)

Dosage and Administration

1. Take one tablet once daily, preferably in the evening.
2. Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food. Do not crush, break, or chew the medicine.
3. Follow your doctor's advice regarding the dose and duration of treatment. Do not stop taking the medicine early, as symptoms may return.
4. This medicine is not recommended for use in children below 15 years of age.

• Store Montecip Lc Tablet below 30°C, in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• This medicine is not intended for the relief of acute asthma attacks. Use your prescribed inhaler for immediate asthma relief.

• Do not take Montecip Lc Tablet if you have a known allergy to levocetirizine, montelukast, or any other ingredients in the formulation.

• Common side effects include headache, dry mouth, fatigue, dizziness, upset stomach, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, and skin rash.
