GC Gold Label 9 Extra / Fuji IX Extra (Powder-Liquid) Restorative GIC - Mini Pack A2 is a high-strength, strontium-based glass ionomer cement engineered for durable posterior restorations. This material combines the established advantages of glass ionomer technology with enhanced physical properties, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in both permanent and deciduous dentition.

Formulated with strontium glass, this restorative GIC offers superior radiopacity and a fast setting time, which are beneficial for efficient clinical workflows. The strontium component actively contributes to internal remineralization by mimicking calcium in the formation of strontium hydroxyapatite and strontium fluoroapatite, thereby reinforcing the tooth structure. Its powder-liquid formulation is designed for hand mixing, allowing for a consistent and predictable seal through ion exchange with the tooth structure.

This restorative material is ideal for Class I and small Class II restorations, transitional restorations, and base/core build-ups, particularly in non-load bearing areas. It exhibits high compressive and flexural strength, with wear resistance 60% higher than conventional glass ionomers, ensuring robust performance in the posterior region. The material's ability to strengthen over time when exposed to saliva, coupled with its reliable chemical bond, contributes to long-lasting restorations.
