• Place the machine on a stable surface and connect it to power or ensure the battery is charged.
• Position the patient as required and maintain a 200 mm source-to-skin distance.
• Set the exposure time between 0.05–1.00 seconds using the smart dial.
• Verify that voltage and current settings are appropriate for the procedure.
• Ensure all personnel are clear of the X-ray beam.
• Wear proper PPE such as lead aprons and thyroid collars.
• Activate the exposure using the trigger while staying clear of the beam.
• Review the captured image for quality and repeat if necessary.
