The Shofu OneGloss Set is an aluminum oxide one-step finisher and polisher engineered for dental professionals to achieve optimal finishes on various restorations. This system provides an ideal finish for all types of composite and cemented restorations by allowing adjustment of contact pressure during use.
The polishers within the set are crafted from a high concentration of aluminum oxide integrated into a silicone binder, ensuring effective cutting and polishing performance. It is indicated for the finishing and polishing of all tooth-colored restorations, removal of excess resin or cement from tooth surfaces, polishing enamel following scaling procedures, and the elimination of surface stains. The degree of smoothness on the restoration surface is controlled by applying approximately 1.0 Newton for finishing with intermittent water, and 0.3 Newton for polishing.
The Shofu OneGloss Set (PN 0180) typically includes 20 Cup, 20 Midi-Point, and 20 IC shapes of unmounted polishers, along with 3 stainless steel CA mandrels. The unmounted polishers are designed for single use and should be discarded after each application. The accompanying CA mandrels are sterilizable via autoclave for reuse. This product is intended for use by dental professionals and has undergone screening by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA).
