1. Preparation

• Clean and dry the tooth surface to remove debris and ensure optimal adhesion.

2. Application

• Attach a fine metal syringe tip to the Septo-Etch syringe.

• Apply a small, precise amount of etchant gel to the area to be etched.

  Avoid contact with adjacent teeth and soft tissues.

3. Etching Time

• Enamel: Leave gel in place for 15 seconds.

• Dentin: Leave gel in place for 10 seconds.

• Ensure uniform coverage of the treatment area.

4. Rinsing

• Rinse thoroughly with water to remove all traces of the etchant gel.

• Gently air-dry the surface.

  Do not overdry or desiccate dentin.

5. Post-Etching

• Verify a frosty white appearance on the enamel surface—this confirms successful etching.

6. After Use
