SDI Set PP Resin Luting Cement in 'Translucent' shade is a self-etching, self-adhesive, dual-cure resin cement engineered for the permanent placement of prosthetic restorations. This includes the final cementation of metal, resin, all-ceramic, and ceramic-based inlays, onlays, crowns, bridges, posts, and screws. Its dual-cure formulation combines both light-curing and self-curing capabilities, offering versatility for various clinical requirements.

The cement is composed of 35% by weight methacrylate ester and 65% by weight inorganic filler. It incorporates SDI's proprietary ionglass™ filler, a radiopaque, high ion-releasing, reactive glass that contributes to substantial fluoride release, aiding in the remineralisation of natural dentition. Delivery is facilitated by a precise auto-mix syringe system, ensuring consistent and controlled application.

SDI Set PP is designed with a low film thickness, which promotes optimal marginal integrity and minimizes interference with restoration fit. It offers a working time of 2 minutes at room temperature and a net setting time of 5 minutes at oral temperature, with a light-curing time of 20 seconds. The self-etching and self-adhesive properties eliminate the need for separate etching and washing, helping to reduce post-operative sensitivity.
