Ivoclar Vivadent SpeedCEM Plus Refills Resin Luting Cement is a self-adhesive, self-curing resin cement with an optional light-curing capability, designed for the permanent cementation of high-strength indirect restorations. This resin luting cement, supplied in an 'Opaque' shade, is particularly suited for restorations made of zirconium oxide and metal-ceramics, as well as for the cementation of restorations on implant abutments. It is also indicated for lithium disilicate crowns with a wall thickness greater than 1.5 mm and for 3-unit lithium disilicate bridges on retentively prepared teeth.

The formulation of SpeedCEM Plus is optimized for efficient and user-friendly application, delivered as a paste-paste system in a convenient automix syringe with exchangeable mixing tips. This dual-cure formulation ensures reliable curing even in areas with limited light exposure, providing flexibility during cementation procedures. The cement exhibits high bond strength to dentin, zirconia, and metal, even in self-cure mode, and offers high moisture tolerance for flexible use in various clinical situations.

With an intra-oral working time of approximately 1-2 minutes and a total intra-oral setting time of approximately 3 minutes, SpeedCEM Plus streamlines chairside procedures. Its high radiopacity allows for easy differentiation from natural tooth structure on radiographs, aiding in the detection of residual cement and secondary caries.
