Orikam Neocem Type 1 Luting GIC is a glass ionomer cement specifically formulated for both luting and lining applications in restorative dentistry. It is indicated for the cementation of metal or porcelain fused to metal crowns, bridges, and inlays. Additionally, it is suitable for the cementation of stainless steel crowns and orthodontic appliances, including orthodontic bands. This versatile material can also serve as a base or liner under various dental restorations.

The cement's powder component contains a precise mixture of silica and fluorides of aluminum, calcium, and sodium, while the liquid consists of polyacrylic acid and copolymer in water. This composition contributes to its good biocompatibility, ensuring it is non-irritant to surrounding tissues. Orikam Neocem Type 1 Luting GIC exhibits chemical adhesion to both tooth structure, including enamel and dentin, and various metal surfaces.
