This device measures the percentage of oxygen saturation in the blood and the heart rate in beats per minute (BPM). It features an easy-to-read OLED display that shows SpO2 and heart rate readings, with an innovative 4-direction display for enhanced viewing flexibility. The parameter display can be shifted between Pulse Rate (PR) and Perfusion Index (PI).

For enhanced safety and user convenience, the Nidek Pulse Oxymeter - 6500 PO includes audible and visible over-limit indications, alongside a low battery voltage indication. It operates efficiently on 2 AAA alkaline batteries, featuring low power consumption and an automatic power-off function after approximately 8 seconds of no signal to conserve battery life.
