Dosage and Administration

  1. Use Hexidine Mouthwash exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
  2. The usual dosage is 10ml of undiluted mouthwash, rinsed around the mouth for at least 30 seconds to 1 minute, twice daily, typically after toothbrushing.
  3. Spit out the mouthwash; do not swallow it.
  4. For maximum effectiveness, avoid eating, drinking, or rinsing your mouth with water or other mouthwashes for at least 30 minutes after use.
  5. Do not stop using until the complete course is finished, even if symptoms improve.

 

Storage and Disposal

  • Store at room temperature, ideally between 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F).
  • Keep in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Properly discard expired or no longer needed product; consult your pharmacist or local waste disposal company.

Precautions and Safety

  • Do not swallow the mouthwash.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and ears. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
