It provides user-selectable energy levels ranging from 2J to 360J, utilizing a 5 ms monophasic Lown pulse waveform for direct energy delivery in emergency scenarios. This manual external defibrillator supports synchronized cardioversion, allowing clinicians precise control over shock delivery for various patient needs.

Equipped with an integrated recorder, the DF 2509R ensures comprehensive documentation of defibrillation events. It captures ECG waveforms, shock details, and event logs, storing and printing up to 24 events with 3 seconds of pre-event and 7 seconds of post-event data. The device also features real-time ECG monitoring for continuous patient rhythm assessment during resuscitation efforts.
