Dosage and Administration

  1. Zyrop 4000Iu Injection must be administered by a trained medical professional.
  2. It is given by injection either under the skin (subcutaneously) or into a vein (intravenously), as decided by your doctor.
  3. The dose depends on your body weight and the cause of your anemia.
  4. Before administration, the solution should be inspected for any particles or discoloration. Do not shake the injection vigorously.
  5. The medicine should be at room temperature before administration.

 

Storage and Disposal

  • Store Zyrop 4000Iu Injection in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C.
  • Do not freeze or shake the solution vigorously.
  • Protect from light exposure and keep in the original packaging.
  • You may take this medicine out of the refrigerator and keep it at room temperature (up to 25°C) for no longer than 3 days. Once removed, it must be used within 3 days or disposed of.

Precautions and Safety

  • Zyrop 4000Iu Injection is not recommended for patients with a recent heart attack or stroke, severe uncontrollable high blood pressure, or pure red cell aplasia.

Side Effects and Risks

  • Common side effects include high blood pressure, headache, joint pain, nausea, vomiting, fever, and flu-like symptoms (tiredness, dizziness, aches and pains, chills, stuffy nose, sore throat, cough).
  • Other reported side effects include muscle spasm, vascular occlusion, injection site irritation, stomatitis (inflammation of the mouth), weight loss, decreased white blood cell count, increased blood glucose level, and rash.
  • Serious side effects can include blood clots, seizures (fits), stroke, heart attack, and tumor growth.
