Livogen Captab 15's contains Ferrous Fumarate (152mg) and Folic Acid (1500mcg), a combination used to manage iron deficiency anemia and support red blood cell production.

Dosage and Administration

2. For optimal absorption, consider taking it on an empty stomach, either one hour before a meal or two hours after a meal, unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
3. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not chew, crush, or break it.
4. Avoid consuming tea, coffee, or dairy products immediately before or after taking the tablet, as they may interfere with iron absorption.

Storage and Disposal

• Store at room temperature, typically between 20-25°C or below 25°C.
• Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
• Store in a safe location, out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not freeze Livogen Captab.

Precautions and Safety

• Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to iron or any of its components.
• It is not recommended for individuals with iron storage disorders such as Hemochromatosis or Hemosiderosis, or those with active bacterial infections.
• Consult a doctor if you have a peptic ulcer, inflammatory bowel disease, or any other stomach-related condition.
• Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking, as some may affect the absorption or effectiveness of Livogen Captab.
• Avoid excessive alcohol consumption during the course of this medication.
• Iron supplements can cause stools to appear darker in color, which is generally harmless.
