Your Advantages

Brand Zuventus

Zostum 3gm Injection contains Cefoperazone (2gm) and Sulbactam (1gm), a combination antibiotic used to treat a wide range of severe bacterial infections.

Benefits

This medicine helps treat a wide range of serious bacterial infections by stopping the spread of infection and supporting the body's recovery. It reduces symptoms such as fever, pain, swelling, and discomfort caused by infection. The combination is particularly effective against multidrug-resistant bacteria by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis and counteracting beta-lactamase-mediated resistance.

It is typically given in equally divided doses every 12 hours. For intravenous infusion, the vial is reconstituted with a suitable solution (e.g., sterile water for injection, 0.9% Sodium Chloride, or 5% Dextrose in Water) and then diluted for administration over 15 to 60 minutes.
