Uses and Indications

• Invasive Aspergillosis, which are severe lung infections caused by Aspergillus mould.
• Esophageal Candidiasis, treating yeast infections in the throat and food pipe.
• Candidemia, a fungal infection in the blood.
• Serious fungal infections caused by Scedosporium apiospermum and Fusarium species.
• Other deep tissue Candida infections.
• Fungal infections affecting the skin, nails, mouth, throat, and other internal organs.
• Preventive treatment for individuals with a weakened immune system.

The Voritrol 200mg Tablet contains:

• Voriconazole IP 200 mg (active ingredient).
• Excipients q.s.
• Colour: Titanium Dioxide P.

Dosage and Administration

1. Take Voritrol 200mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
2. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it.
3. Administer the tablet one hour before or one hour after a meal.
4. Complete the full prescribed course of treatment, even if your symptoms improve after a few days, to prevent the infection from returning.

Storage and Disposal

• Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
• Keep this medicine out of reach of children.

Precautions and Safety

• Do not take Voritrol 200mg Tablet if you are pregnant or could become pregnant, unless specifically advised by your doctor.

Side Effects and Risks

• Seek immediate medical attention if you experience serious side effects such as a severe allergic reaction (e.g., skin rashes, itching, hives, swelling of the mouth/lips, difficulty breathing), changes in vision, dark urine, pale-coloured stool, seizures, tremors, hallucinations, yellow eyes or skin, severe sunburn, abdominal pain, convulsions, increased thirst, muscle pain, irritability, fast heartbeat, confusion, unusual bruising or bleeding, or swelling of the hands, ankles, or feet.
