The RMS PC Based Spirometer - Helios 401 is a compact and portable lung function testing device designed for efficient and accurate clinical diagnostics. It functions as a PC-based spirometer, providing real-time results and supporting multiple pulmonary function tests for comprehensive respiratory assessment in both adult and pediatric patients.

This spirometer is engineered to perform Forced Vital Capacity (FVC), Slow Vital Capacity (SVC), Maximum Voluntary Ventilation (MVV), and Broncho Provocation tests. It offers real-time flow-volume and volume-time loop displays and evaluates 51 vital parameters with interpretation. The device incorporates user-defined predicted sets, interpretation logic, and built-in temperature sensor for BTPS correction. It follows ATS and ERS interpretation standards and includes Indian predicted equations and ethnic corrections.

For enhanced safety and streamlined workflow, the Helios 401 features a detachable and easy-to-disinfect digital turbine transducer. It is USB-based and USB powered, offering modern connectivity for hospital information system integration through HL7 support and facilitating data download to a PC. The device complies with global standards, holding CE and ISO Certification.
