Assembly: Attach the desired contra-angle head to the motor handpiece by aligning the connectors and gently twisting them until they are securely locked in place. Ensure that the contra-angle head is properly seated before proceeding.
Charging the device: Before starting, ensure that the Motopex-M is fully charged. Connect the charging cable to the charging port on the motor handpiece, and plug the other end into a power source. Allow the device to charge until the battery is fully replenished.
Powering on/off: To power on the Motopex-M, press and hold the power button located on the motor handpiece. Release the button when the device turns on. To power off the device, repeat the same process.
Speed and torque adjustment: Use the speed and torque adjustment buttons located on the motor handpiece to set the desired rotation speed and torque level. Press the respective buttons to increase or decrease the values until you reach the desired settings.
Inserting the instrument: Prepare the root canal by following standard endodontic protocols. Once ready, gently insert the endodontic instrument into the root canal, taking care not to exert excessive force. Ensure that the Rotary File is properly secured within the contra-angle head.
Rotation direction: The Motopex-M allows for forward and reverse rotation. Choose the appropriate rotation direction based on the specific requirements of the procedure. Use the rotation direction switch located on the motor handpiece to change the direction of rotation.
Procedure execution: As you navigate through the root canal, maintain a steady and controlled hand movement. Monitor the instrument's progress and adjust the speed and torque settings as necessary to ensure optimal performance and patient comfort. Take breaks as needed to irrigate and clean the canal during the procedure.
Adaptive torque reverse reciprocation: The Motopex-M's adaptive torque reverse reciprocation feature automatically adjusts the torque and direction of rotation based on the resistance encountered in the root canal. This feature enhances safety and efficiency. Allow the device to respond to the resistance and adjust the instrument's movement accordingly.
