The Meril Merisoft Chromic Suture 2-0 is a natural absorbable surgical suture designed for optimal, time-tested performance in various surgical applications. It is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and ligation across medical specialties.

This gut suture is prepared from purified connective tissue, primarily collagen, obtained from sheep intestine, ensuring biocompatibility and minimal tissue reaction. The suture is treated with chromium salts to delay its absorption by the body, providing extended wound support with an absorption time ranging from 90 to 120 days.

Each Meril Merisoft Chromic Suture 2-0 is supplied in sterile packaging to ensure safety and sterility until the time of use. As a single-use device, any open and unused sutures should be discarded to maintain aseptic conditions.
