Setup & Connection:
Connect the handpiece to the corded power supply.
Ensure the handpiece is securely attached and the light guide is clean.
Power On:
Press the power button to turn on the unit.
Verify the display or indicator lights show the unit is ready.
Program Selection:
Bluephase N MC has 1 preset program (High Intensity – 800 mW/cm² for 20 sec).
Confirm the curing mode before starting.
Positioning the Light:
Hold the handpiece with the light guide as close as possible (without touching) to the composite restoration.
Ensure the light is perpendicular to the surface for optimal curing.
Curing:
Press and hold the activation button.
Maintain exposure for the recommended curing time (20 seconds for High mode).
Avoid moving the light during the curing cycle.
After Use:
Release the activation button and remove the handpiece from the patient area.
Wipe the light guide with a disinfectant.
If necessary, autoclave the handpiece according to manufacturer instructions.
Maintenance:
Regularly inspect the light guide for cracks or debris.
Check the unit and handpiece connections before each use.
Store the unit in a dry, safe location when not in use.
Safety Notes:
Avoid looking directly into the light source.
Use protective eyewear for both patient and operator.
Do not cover the light guide during operation.
