Dengen Dengocem Type 1 Luting GIC

Dengen Dengocem Type 1 Luting GIC is a self-cure, translucent glass ionomer luting cement engineered for reliable and durable permanent cementation in restorative dentistry. This advanced glass ionomer cement is suitable for a wide range of clinical applications, including the cementation of inlays, onlays, crowns, bridges, orthodontic bands, stainless steel crowns, and PFM crowns.

The cement is designed for hand mixing, utilizing a powder and liquid formulation with a recommended powder/liquid ratio of 1:2. The mixing process typically takes 45-60 seconds. It offers a working time of 2 minutes from the start of mixing at 23±1°C (73.40±1°F), with a setting time of 2 minutes 30 seconds under the same conditions. Final finishing can commence 4-5 minutes after seating the restoration.

Formulated with biocompatible materials, Dengen Dengocem Type 1 promotes a healthy tissue response and minimizes the risk of adverse reactions. The cement is radiopaque, providing clear visibility on radiographs to aid in accurate diagnosis and assessment of restoration integrity. Glass ionomer cements, including this product, generally conform to international standards such as ISO 9917-1:2007 and fall under EU Council Directive 93/42/EEC Class IIa for medical devices.
