BPL Dia Cast Stethoscope – Adult Black (ST-01) is a entry-level acoustic stethoscope for adult auscultation: outpatient departments, general wards, nursing stations, general practice and student kits. Its DIA Cast single-sided chestpiece provides bell and diaphragm-frequency responses for versatile clinical examinations. This BPL stethoscope features a non-chill rim for patient comfort, a medical-grade PVC tube, and soft-sealing eartips for a comfortable fit. Its lightweight construction supports routine use in clinical and patient-monitoring settings.
Light contact favours low-frequency sounds, the range a traditional bell is used for; firmer pressure brings out higher-frequency sounds, the diaphragm range. A single-lumen medical-grade PVC tube carries the sound to an anatomically angled headset, which directs the eartubes forward into the ear canal. Soft-sealing eartips close the acoustic path and reduce ambient noise. The tube is black; the chestpiece has a polished finish.
Most reliable for routine examination of heart, lungs and bowel sounds, and Korotkoff sounds during manual blood-pressure measurement.
Features:
- Dual-Frequency Single-Sided Chestpiece: Bell and diaphragm-frequency responses support assessment of heart, lung, and other body sounds.
- High Acoustic Sensitivity: Features optimized acoustic clarity and sound transmission.
- Patient Scope: Designed for routine examinations of adult patients.
- High-fidelity signal: A single-lumen medical-grade PVC tube is designed to maintain high signal fidelity, minimizing ambient noise.
- Patient comfort: The non-chill rim helps make chestpiece contact more comfortable.
- Comfortable Acoustic seal: Soft-sealing eartips support a comfortable fit during examinations.
