The 3M™ Littmann® Classic III™ Stethoscope is engineered for clinicians who monitor and assess children or adults in non-critical environments. This instrument is suitable for use in various non-critical care settings, including medical offices, general wards, OB/GYN, ambulatory clinics, or urgent care facilities. It facilitates the detection of both normal and abnormal body sounds and rhythms.

This stethoscope features a dual-sided "Stainless Steel Chestpiece" with tunable diaphragms on both the adult and pediatric sides. The innovative tunable diaphragm technology, a 3M invention, allows healthcare professionals to switch between hearing low and high-frequency sounds by simply adjusting the pressure applied to the chestpiece. The product is distinguished by its "Caribbean Blue Tube".

Designed for enhanced safety and durability, the next-generation tubing is manufactured without natural rubber latex or phthalate plasticizers, benefiting sensitive medical professionals and patients. This tubing also offers improved resistance to skin oils and alcohol, contributing to a longer product life and reduced staining.
