The 3M Littmann Cardiology IV Standard Finish Chestpiece Stethoscope - Black Tube (6152) is engineered for clinicians requiring outstanding acoustic performance for assessing and diagnosing adult and pediatric patients. It helps isolate subtle sounds, enabling confident diagnosis of changes in patient status, even in critical care and challenging environments such as the ED, ICU, Cardiac ICU, and step-down units. This includes listening for hard-to-hear sounds like aortic stenosis, S3 gallop murmurs, and faint pulmonary anomalies.

This stethoscope features a tunable, dual-sided stainless steel chestpiece with an adult diaphragm diameter of 4.3 cm and a pediatric diaphragm diameter of 3.3 cm. The pediatric side can be converted to a traditional open bell by replacing the tunable diaphragm with the included non-chill bell sleeve. Its double lumen tubing eliminates rubbing noise, ensuring clear sound transmission. The overall length of the stethoscope is 69 cm (27 inches).

For patient comfort and safety, the stethoscope includes a non-chill bell sleeve and soft-sealing ear-tips that provide optimal comfort and excellent sound occlusion. The product is made in the USA without natural rubber latex. It is approved in all regulatory jurisdictions.
