The Athenese HIV-Ab/Ag 4th Generation Rapid Card is an advanced in-vitro diagnostic test designed for the qualitative detection of HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies along with HIV-1 p24 antigen. This test utilizes lateral flow immunochromatographic technology.
This fourth-generation assay enables early detection of HIV infection by simultaneously identifying both antibodies and the p24 antigen, thereby reducing the diagnostic window period. It is compatible with human serum, plasma, or whole blood samples and provides rapid results within approximately 15 minutes.
Manufactured in India, this diagnostic card has been evaluated by the National Institute of Biologicals (NIB) and its performance validated with BBI low titre panel and Chinese FDA HIV Ab Panel.
