Athenese HIV 1/2 Ab Rapid Card - 30 Tests (AR0011C)

The Athenese HIV 1/2 Ab Rapid Card AR0011C is engineered for the qualitative detection of antibodies to Human Immunodeficiency Virus types 1 and 2 (HIV-1/2) in human blood, serum, or plasma. This rapid test facilitates early screening and diagnosis of HIV infections, providing timely information for patient care. It is suitable for screening the presence of Anti-HIV 1 & Anti-HIV 2 in blood bank supplies and for monitoring HIV prevalence.

This 3rd Generation, double-antigen based test utilizes a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. It employs recombinant gp-120-41 for HIV-1 and recombinant gp-36 for HIV-2 antibody detection. The card format is user-friendly, requiring minimal training and no additional instrumentation.

Delivering results within 15 to 20 minutes, the test is ideal for clinics, hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and point-of-care settings. Its performance has been evaluated by NIB and validated with BBI low titre panel and Chinese FDA HIV Ab Panel.
