Arkray OH Widal Test Kit - 2 x 5ml

The Arkray OH Widal Test Kit is a serological agglutination test designed for the qualitative and semi-quantitative detection of antibodies against Salmonella typhi and Salmonella paratyphi. This diagnostic reagent kit aids in the screening and supportive diagnosis of typhoid and enteric fever in clinical laboratories.

The test operates on the principle of agglutination, where specific antibodies present in a patient's serum react with stained O and H antigens, leading to visible clumping. The kit contains killed bacterial suspensions of these specific antigens. The reagents are supplied in USP type 1 amber colored glass vials.
