Abhayrab Vaccine 0.5ml Injection is a purified, inactivated rabies vaccine indicated for active immunization against rabies. It is utilized for both pre-exposure prophylaxis in high-risk individuals and post-exposure treatment following suspected exposure to the rabies virus.

This lyophilized vaccine contains inactivated Rabies antigen derived from the L. Pasteur 2061/Vero Strain, propagated in Vero Cells, with a potency of ≥ 2.5 I.U. per vial. It requires reconstitution with the supplied 0.5ml diluent immediately prior to administration.

The reconstituted 0.5ml vaccine is administered via the deep intramuscular route. Maintaining a cold-chain is crucial, requiring storage and transport between +2°C and +8°C, and it must not be frozen.
