Voco Calcimol LC is a light-curing, radiopaque one-component calcium hydroxide paste designed for effective pulp protection and cavity lining in restorative dentistry. This material is indicated for indirect pulp capping and serves as a reliable liner under all restorative materials, offering protection when employing the total-etch technique.

The resin-modified formulation contains 26% calcium hydroxide, facilitating the release of calcium ions that promote the formation of tertiary dentin and hydroxyapatite. Voco Calcimol LC features a high pH of 10-12, which supports tissue healing and provides an antimicrobial effect. Additionally, it exhibits high acid resistance, contributing to long-lasting protection.

Presented in a Non-Dripping Technology (NDT) syringe, Voco Calcimol LC ensures precise and direct application, enhancing workflow efficiency. The material offers high compressive strength, providing a solid foundation for subsequent restorations, and cures efficiently within 20 seconds. This product is classified as a medical device under the US Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, Canadian Medical Devices Regulations (CMDR) SOR/98-282, and corresponds to the EU Medical Devices Regulation (EU) 2017/745 Class IIa.
