Spident BaGIC II Glass Ionomer Filling Material is a self-cured glass ionomer cement, supplied as a powder (15g) and liquid (10g) system, designed for a wide range of dental restorative applications. This material is formulated to provide a durable and aesthetic restorative solution for various clinical needs.
This glass ionomer cement offers excellent biocompatibility, ensuring it is a safe and well-tolerated choice for dental procedures. It establishes a strong bonding force with both enamel and dentin, contributing to secure and lasting adhesion. BaGIC II also exhibits radiopaque properties, enhancing diagnostic visibility for accurate assessment during and after dental treatments.
The material is indicated for the restoration of primary teeth, filling carious cavities of Class I, II, III, and V, and serves as a reliable option for core build-ups and temporary fillings. Additionally, it is suitable for geriatric restorations, Atraumatic Restorative Treatment (ART) techniques, and the sandwich technique, as well as for use as a base or liner under composite and amalgam restorations.

Provides a working time of approximately 1 to 2 minutes at 23°C and a quick setting time ranging from 1.5 to 6 minutes from the start of mixing, depending on the powder-to-liquid ratio.
