Sompraz 40mg Tablet contains Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor used to reduce excessive stomach acid and treat related conditions.

Benefits — It helps relieve discomfort from acidity, heartburn, and acid reflux, promoting healing of the stomach lining and preventing further damage. It also aids in healing peptic ulcers and can prevent stomach ulcers caused by certain medications like NSAIDs.

Uses and Indications — Sompraz 40mg Tablet is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It is also used for erosive esophagitis and in combination therapy for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection.

The Sompraz 40mg Tablet contains:

• Esomeprazole 40 mg (active ingredient).

Dosage and Administration

1. Take Sompraz 40mg Tablet orally, as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken once daily on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning, at least one hour before a meal.
2. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew, crush, or break it.

Storage and Disposal

• Store the tablets at room temperature, below 30°C, in a dry place.
• Protect from light and moisture, and keep out of the reach of children.

Precautions and Safety
