Shofu Porcelain Primer - 5Ml

Shofu Porcelain Primer is a dental priming agent formulated to establish strong and durable adhesive bonds between porcelain restorations and dental substrates. It is indicated for use with sintered/pressed ceramics and indirect composites, particularly when paired with luting composites such as ResiCem. This primer is suitable for both intra-oral cementation and repair procedures.

Composed of silane coupling agents and ethanol, Shofu Porcelain Primer enhances the chemical bond to porcelain and indirect resin restorations. Its application involves dispensing the primer onto a dish and applying a single layer to the adhesive surface with a disposable brush, followed by a brief undisturbed period and natural drying.

The primer contributes to an impressive shear strength of approximately 30 MPa between the luting composite and porcelain, exceeding typical market averages for secure and long-lasting restorations. This device meets relevant dental safety standards, with its sale restricted by US Federal law to dental professionals.
